Hi!  Just to refresh your memory, this is Adrienne from Albuquerque,NM.  I purchased a male puppy from your March litter and you sent him to me on Mother's Day.  Anyway...I just wanted to check in and tell you how absolutely wonderful he is.  We have so much fun with him.  He is a real joy.  No matter what my mood it makes me laugh just to look at him.  He is getting very big and has so much personality.  His newest thing is to constantly have his tongue out of his mouth.  Sometimes it is just a little and sometimes it is all the way but it is always out in some way.  He goes to the vet again next week (more shots and heartworm) so we will see how much weight he has gained.  The last time he went (almost 3 weeks ago) he weighed 26 pounds.  But I am sure he is more now!  He is a big boy.  I am attaching some pictures of him (and my Boston Terrier is in some of them). They aren't as good as I had hoped because he wouldn't look at the digital camera!  But I have some really good ones on a regular camera that I need to get developed.  Hope all is well in Oklahoma!  Thanks again for such a wonderful dog!

Hi Ellen, my mommy is sending you a picture of me so that you can see how big I am now, here my mom and dad bathed me, although I give them a hard time doing it, lol but they are really patience with me and they leave me berry clean as you can see, and also I am glad because here is hot and the water makes me feel fresh :)

Hi, I am sending you a picture that I took my cel phone, I will take more and send them to you, this way is easyer for me.
Talk to you soon. Have a great day.

I’m interested in acquiring an all white english bulldog.  You have come highly recommended.  Do you have any all white puppies (male or female).  Please advise.

Ellen,
Thank you so much for getting Champagne to us so promptly.  It is such a pleasure doing business with such a delightful person.  I hope you can get some rest this weekend with all of the driving you will be doing.

I will be glad when Champagne’s flight is over and she is here, safe and sound.  I will contact you the minute we pick her up.  Where are her parents’ from again?  I am sorry, I have been dealing with this dog stuff way too much.  We have been searching for a dog for about six months, now everything is running together.

Do you think we should introduce Boomer and Champagne as soon as we get home or should we let her get settled in first?  I don’t want to traumatize her.

Let us know what you think.
One more thing, are you on central time?  We are on eastern standard, so I hope I didn’t call you an hour earlier than us this morning.  I didn’t even think about it.
Thanks,
Kim

Ellen,
I just wanted to give you an update on Gracie. She has us trained so well now. She lets us know when she wants out and back in, when she wants to go to bed, when she wants up, and when she wants down. I take her everywhere with me, so she is very socialized. She really likes going up to my kids' school. Everyone fawns all over her. They're even talking about making her the school mascot. I can't carry her anymore, so she rides in a little red wagon. I think she has a crush on my boxer, TRUK. Everyone is always asking where we got her, and if we're going to breed her. They all want puppies!. I watched the dog show on animal planet the other day. The #4 in the non sporting group could have been Gracie's twin; same markings and everything. She is absolutely the best dog I have ever had. The vet says she has a slight entropian, but they expect her to grown out of it. She also seems to have my seasonal allergies; go figure. Other than that, she's perfect. I don't know how we ever got on without her. Thanks so much, again, for letting us bring her into our lives.
Sincerely,
Pattie
Hi Ellen,

Thankyou for the flight information. We would like to pick Shorty up
at Tampa International because we know where that airport is.We've never
heard of the other airport.Thank you again for making this first time
purchase very easy and smooth.

We got the puppy!  She is beautiful. My wife couldnt be happier. Could you please call us when you get a chance.

                Dallas and Vanette
My husband, Mark - loved the little boy.  He and Bertie are thoroughly enjoying themselves.  Bertie has a beanbag chair that he loves to play in - nap in - chew on a pig ear, etc.  Well immediately Bob Lee took up with it too.  So Saturday we went and bought another - so that each could have their own.

He is a true joy - we are taking lots of pictures.  When I get a chance I will download a few to you as well.

In his packet was a small blue book - is that his shot records?  I didn't see his pedigree information or his registrations so I am guessing we will receive that in the mail at a later time.  Thank you so much!  He is exactly what we wanted and is a beautiful replica of his breed, in spirit and appearance.

Thank you so much!
Becky

Ellen,
just wanted to let you know i received gracie's papers. this picture was taken on vacation in colorado. she's not much on cold weather, and she hates water more than our cat. i've never seen anything like it. she won't walk in
wet grass without shaking the water off her feet. she got a lot of attention from everyone. a couple of strangers even took pictures of her out at the great sand dunes.we decided to have her spayed, and you wouldn't know she'd ever had surgery. she came out of it jumping around and wanting to play with the cat. my in-laws call her "miss mess". it really fits.

Hi Ellen,

This is Sonya, my boyfriend and I bought "Little John" from you and re-named him Sully.  I am writing from his e-mail address.

I got your message from several weeks ago about Sully's paperwork.  I apologize it has taken me so long to get back to you but I wanted to be able to send you pictures of him.  I do have a couple of pictures of him and my girls but need to scan them, there aren't on my digital camera.

Sully is great!  He is a typical boy...into everything!  One thing that I love is the loyalty and love he gives my girls.  Sully follows them wherever they go.  And they love to sit in his kennel with him.

Dwight loves to "rough house" play with him and I must say Sully loves it too.  I have another dog, Fiona, she is a Pomeranian and Sully loves to drag her around the house by her tail.  It is amusing to watch.

All in all, we are very happy with him.  Looking on your website...I might have to get another puppy :-)  Just kidding...well not just yet.

I am including several pictures of him so I hope you will be able to download them.  If not, I'll send the pictures in different e-mails.

Im sorry the pictures didnt come out im mailing you some tomorrow.Ive been soooo busy between work and the puppies i hardly have time to breath.Well Delilah is doing great, she is getting sooo big so fast and boy is she full of  as they say piss and vinegar she is a pistol and so smart!!! She only wakes me up one time during the night now to go out then shes good till morning, she has also this weekend began using the doggie door with the 2 bigger ones, she is so cute because the doggie door has yhe plastic flap and its heavy she goes to push the plastic and if she doesnt get her head out quick enough it comes back on bops her.She definitly keeps the other two in check!!!She goes back to the vet this weekend im dieing to know how much she weighs now?!She doesnt fit in the crate you shipped her in anymore its to snug for her.I am truly glad that i found you because she is the best, she has brought so much joy into this house and she is just a riot to watch play especially with my other 2.As i promised i will keep in touch and keep you up to date with pictures and such.Hope everything is well with you and yours so keep an eye on the mail, plus i still have more film to develope,i hope my husband can figure out this digital camera thing soon.Well talk atcha later,Dee & Delilah.
Hi Ellen,

I don't know if you remember me, but I adopted one of your puppies last September. I named her Sofie and she is doing great - completely rules the house. I work from home, so I am with her all day, almost every day. She plays in my office most of the time, but has also developed a really funny habbit that I wanted to share with you. She climbs up on the back of the living room couch and spends HOURS watching out the window of our first floor Chicago condo. When I walk into the room, I very often hear people on the street laughing and talking to her. All of the neighbors have taken her pictures and people have even knocked on the door to tell me how much they enjoy seeing her on their walks home. I am convinced that if she could talk shewould tell us all of the neighborhood gossip (who's having an affair, who just bought a new car, etc.). I am going to send you a few photos, and let you decide if you want to put any of them on your web site. She is the greatest dog ever and I completely adore her. I can't remember what I did before I had Sofie in my life! I have a friend here who has fallen in love with her and he's considering getting a bullie himself - I sent him your website.

Thanks again for introducing me to the wonderful experience of being a bulldog's human!

Take care, Heather

Dear Ellen Dunaway,

ELLEN, RAUL AND I WANT TO THANK YOU FOR THE BEAUTIFUL ENGLISH BULLDOG (USHER) THAT WE PURCHASED FROM YOU. HE IS A VERY GOOD LOOKING AND HEALTHY PUP. MY KIDS INSTANTLY FELL IN LOVE WITH HIM AND SO DID WE. THANKS AGAIN.

Ellen,

Sleep has been very hard to come by.  The puppies are doing great, she has been really good, but we have to watch her close so she doesn't smash one she is so heavy.  She wants to be with them constantly but we take her out when we are not here.

I don't know for sure if my other one is bred, the vet evidently doesn't do as good a job as you.  Wondered do you do AI's for people if if they use their male and if so how much would you charge?

We wanted to send you some updated pictures of "Oliver". (Spanky & Hershey's/ parents). He is an absolute doll. We Thank you so much for our special guy. You were so patient and helpful sending us updated pictures of him and keeping us abreast of all that was happening with him. We would Recommend you as a Breeder. Oliver is a beatiful healthy boy.
Thanks again,
Kim & Don from CT.
Ellen,
I am so embarrassed that it has taken me so long to get this sent to you. Please accept my apology.
Sofie is doing wonderfully, and has become the love of my life! I enclosed some pictures, however since they are printed from the computer they are not the best quality. I am getting together with a friend tomorrow and she is a great photographer. Since I just moved into my new house, she asked me what I wanted for a housewarming present. I told her that I wanted her to spend the afternoon taking shots (black and white and some color) of Sofie playing in the leaves. I'm afraid that I'm going to turn around and she's going to be all grown and I will forget how cute she was at this age.
She has her last vet appointment on Monday and she got a clean bill of health. She is 22 pounds already! She loves to eat (don't we all), and she has a ton of toys. She lasted in the crate one night and then in the bed and hasn't left (what a snuggler). She mostly just likes to be with you no matter what youu're doing. She has a bed in my office and she spends most of the day in here with me napping and playing with her toys. I love that I am working from home because I can take her out several times during the day and that has really helped with the potty training. We are starting puppy kindergarden next week, so that should be fun.
I can't say enough about what a WONDERFUL dog she is and how much she has added to my life.Thank you so much for making the process of adopting her so easy and fun. I promise to send you pictures periodically.
Best wishes,
Heather

Hi Ellen –
I’m on my way out of office for the weekend but Roxie told me this morning she wanted to wish you a very happy halloween and tell you she is doing just great!
She LOVES going down to the pool and having me and the neighbors play in the water with her.  There are technically no dogs allowed in the pool, but Roxie is so damn cute no one cares and they actually ask me to bring her down so they can play with her!  She is famous wherever we go!  The other day she even got a little ride on a jet ski at the lake by my house.  They went real slow and stayed in the shallow part and Roxie sat on the seat looking like she had done this a million times before – she loved it!  I was waving and calling to her from shore like a proud parent.  People think I’m nuts I’m sure, but I love Rox and she’s my best buddy.  I’d do anything for her.

This weekend I’m going to go up near Aspen so Rox can go swimming at Sylvan Lake.  It’s suppose to be gorgeous and crystal clean water.  I know she’s going to love it.  I’ll pack her and I a little picnic lunch and we’ll have a good old time.

On the fourth we stayed  home Roxie does not like the sound of fireworks.  I’ll kept all the windows closed and some white noise on in the background so she didn’t hear the booms and bangs.

Every night she splashes around in her kiddie pool on my patio before bed.  A couple of times she’ll be splashing and I’ll be reading and then I’ll look over at her and she’s sitting there in the pool sleeping.  She is too much!

Hope all is well with you.  Take Care,

Sandra and Roxie

Ellen,
How are you doing today.  Today will be the first complete week with my new puppy.  I'm just writing on behalf of my family to let you know how happy we are now with the new addition.  We decided to rename the puppy "Gunny."  We take him everywhere with us and were ever he goes he seems to make a seen.  My youngest soon who is 18 months old can't seem to let go of him and the same goes for Gunny.  I guess they're
inseparable.  Once again thank you and we will send you pictures when we take them for Christmas.

Hi Ellen,
Our dog arrived safely.  What a beautiful dog and a gorgeous coat.  Valerie, Andrea, Theo, and Athan love our new member of the Goulos "GREEK" household.  Ellen you did a great job training our dog, as soon as my mother in law came thru the door, the dog started to bark.  I was so happy, I gave him a treat.  I told Valerie, if the dog continues to bark at your mother each time she comes in, I will let the dog sleep with me.
We do not have a name yet, maybe Costa, Zues, Plato all greek names.
We will keep in touch.  If you have another dog that barks at father in laws let us know.
Your new adopted family,

Life is good in New Mexico, now if we could just have a little snow.  Tama loves the snow.
Hope all is well with you and your loved ones.  We keep up with your site and are looking for a female that we can breed Tama to.
Thank you for bringing Tama into our life.

Dear Mark & Ellen,

Enclosing pictures of Hugo and Morti (Chrome) we took in the mountians at our cabin in Sept. Must develop and send you newer pix in the New Year.   The boys are absolute darling. Hugo cannot get enough play. He loves his toys. He is very loving and outgoing. He  loves our Grand children coming over They are 6 and 8 yrs and Love "Ugo". Morti is a short, heavy boy that would rather be hugged and petted than play. He is much quiter and hangs back letting Hugo romp. It would really be difficult having two Hugos. So we are Thankful for quiet Little Morti.
Your pups are well cared for and loved. I do hope you remember them (esp. Hugo).Thank You so much for selling them to us.

To your family from ours Sherry

Thanks for taking the time and thank you for being a generous soul and a beautiful spirit in a world that could use a million more people just like you. Thanks so much for everything you've done and for allthat you conitue to do.  You're the best and you're appreciatedmore than words can say.  Thank you for helping us through our first time.

Hi Ellen-
I can't even begin to tell you how happy we are to have Bella in our life!            She is so great!
My husband is a high school ag teacher and we have to decide on who gets "custody" of Bella during the day; he loves to take her to work with him and so do I. She is so great with all of his ag students and they love her to death. She sits in my husbands recliner with him anytime his is in it, she loves to ride in the car, and on the golf cart to check cows. My dad is like a proud grand-pa when he takes her around and shows her off.I took her to the vet last week for her last set of shots and she weighed 16.5 punds....she is getting so big. She has also learned to sit and stay....I can't belive how smart she is! My Mom, sister, and best friend have all decided that they want to get a bulldog like Bella as well; which
is really saying something for my sister and Best Friend cause they aren't normally "dog people".
Anyways, enough of me carrying on. I have attached some pictures of her.
Thanks for raising such great dogs and we are loving her.
Erica

Hi, she is doing GREAT housebreaking with her is a breeze as you told me she cries when shes gotta go!!! She sleeps in a crate next to my bed so i get up with her 3&4 times a night when she cries to go out.Shes eating well and boy is she spunky she really holds her own my my other to bullies!!Yesterday i had to go to work so i fed her took her out and let her stay in her puppy playpen about 8hrs she had only piddled once and was sreaming as soon as she heard me come in the door.I have taken lots of pictures already but because i am not into electonics meaning my husband bought me a digital camera and i havent figured out how to use it i have to get my film developed,LOL!!!But as soon as i get them back i sure will send you a bunch. She reminds me of a cat she crouches down skakes her little but then pounces on things in the morning (or noon or night ) she attacts feet or hangs from my nightgown she is really funny. The LOVE part is a given she gets lots and lots and lots and she is already SPOILED!!!!!!I am so glad that i found her she is to precious!!!Please do keep in touch and i will keep you informed on her growing up and progress.

Dee&Delilah
Ellen,
Well, it took 10 months, but my yorkie "mo" has finally taken to gracie. she tends to "bully" him somewhat, so it too him a while to come around. anyway, her birthday was not too long ago and she's doing great. she weighs about 43 lbs now. she still sleeps with me whether it's on the couch, bed, chair, or long car trips. i absolutely adore her. i think my kids are even a little jealous.

Pattie & Scott

Hi Ellen-

I am writing to let you know that Nutmeg is doing great! We have named her Bella and she is so much fun to have around.....she has fallen ringt into the swing of things around here including feeding cows, watching football in the recliner with my husband, and going to work with me everyday! She has a good play buddy in my Mom's female Corgi puppy, Ginger. They are about the
same age and have a good time together all day.

I took her to my vet the day after I got her (Saturday, Dec 31st) and he said she looked great and she was good to go.

I will send some pictures once I downloand them from my camera. Thanks for
all of your help and for raising such great bullies!

Erica

Dear Ellen,
Our Bullie"Romance"arrived safe and sound about 9:30 tonight 1/25. What a beauty he is! We are all in love!  Yogi our Old English has welcomed him with open arms. I think that they will become good friends. Its a little cold up here and I don't think the pup likes the snow. He had some trouble finding a place to go to the bathroom I guess it will take a while for him to get use to. talk to you soon as we give him a name. Thank you.

Ellen,

It was absolutely a pleasure for me to meet you as well and see your dogs and facilities. I feel both are extremely impressive and am much more comfortable and confident after my visit last night.  I'm extremely excited about taking Newman into my home and want to ensure you that he will be cared for with the same compassion and love that you show all your dogs.  I plan on making my payment in full tonight, when I get home from work.  Below is my information that you requested.  Please let me know if you need anything additional from me.  Again, thank you for your hospitality and time last night.  I look forward to seeing you again in a few days.

She is 11-12 weeks old now and already knows how to sit and shake. She knows her name and what No means. She is almost to smart for her own good. I am adding some pictures in here even though she hasnt grown much yet. Mainly just to show you how happy she is.  Ok  Ellen thank you for everything especially our new baby she is wonderful. And I will talk to you soon. Thanks again Sheri

Ellen,

Here's a few pictures of Oscar for your website.  I've had so many people tell me he's the cutest dog they've ever seen (of course I agree but I'm probably bias).  John
We got Daisy from you guys almost two and a half years ago. She as healthy as can be and is the most energetic bulldog that we have ever seen. She also thinks that she rules the roost and will gladly bump in front of our other bully, Roscoe, to get ALL of the attention. Here are some pics of her:This is the day that I picked her up from the airport. Here Daisy and Roscoe joined us on our wedding day.…and here she is this Easter. She makes a pretty good bunny.
Thanks,Jarrod

I have attached some pictures of Rose aka Addison Rose. Some are when we first got her home and others follow. She is 33.2 pounds as of last week. SOOOo big and growing. I received her papers and thank you. Enjot the pictures.

Thanks,
Angela

I am a friend of Gwen Lynn’s – she and I work in the same office.  She has been telling me about your kennels and operation.  I must say after visiting I am very impressed.  I have been in the dog rescue business for about 10 years and have seen so many terrible breeding situations and puppy mills.  I’ve pulled several Englishes out of one particular mill and found good homes for them.  It is very gratifying to see excellent breeders like yourselves.
Keep up the good work.

Hi Ellen,
I hesitate to write so soon – its only been two weeks, and (like children) I’m sure if I brag on “Max” [formerly “Jelly Roll”], he’ll do something really terrible!  But here goes… he is so-o-o smart!  He’s already learned “come,” “sit,” “down” and “stay” [a little].  He also knows “hurry up, potty” and “out” and “in” to go outside, and he’s only had two accidents in the house.  I’m sending pics—of him helping pick up his toys [not], enjoying the great outdoors, and just looking handsome.
I took him to the vet and everything looked good -- he weighed 18 lbs, he had NO parasites, and we are watching his right eye for a possible lid irritation.
it was such a pleasure working with you all, and I have already recommended you to two neighbors.
Thanks again.
Carolyn

Hi ellen
Our new puppy, aka Coffee Cake,  is doing just great! We are still fighting over names, but she is sweet as can be. My three other dogs are fine with her,  thank goodness, and are not even paying much attention to her. She doesn't seem phased by them. I guess she is so use to being around so many dogs, that she was right at home here. She slept soundly through the night and hasn't had an accident yet.
She is certainly more quiet and less active than any puppy we have ever have, but that's not a bad thing. She is happy to romp for fifteen minutes or so in the yard, and then happy to come in and rest. My kids are thrilled with her and friends are all coming by to see her!!!
We will keep you posted on her progress!!!
Thanks and we will keep in touch!
Stephanie
Hello,

Hi Ellen!
Just wanted to let you know "Tex" arrived safe and sound (finally!) at about midnight  our time last night. He's absolutely ADORABLE!!  We are in love with him already, what a sweetie!!  I took him into work with me today and everybody loved him and he was sooooo well behaved!  I have an appt. with our vet scheduled for him on Monday afternoon.  We love him Ellen, he's just perfect  ;o)
We'll be in touch, best regards
Karen
Hi Ellen!
Well we took Max (that's what we've decided to name "Tex") to our vet yesterday for our "post purchase exam" and of course, our vet gave him a very clean bill of health ;o)  On a personal note, I just have to say how impressed we are with Max! He is absolutely, the most perfect puppy!! I've never known a puppy to be so calm and so loveable - I'm truly amazed by his temperament. We honestly could not have asked for anything more.  He is also very alert and already gives a "warning" bark to any strange noises he hears at our gate (he sure let Frank know not to mess around in "his" territory when Frank startled him while taking out the trash bins last night!) He's definitely made the adjustment into our home and our lives with amazing ease ;o)  He is just a doll Ellen - we are very proud to be his new family!!!
Take care!!
Karen & Frank

This is the most loyal dog I have ever seen. Here are a few pics of her. I am very proud of her. The first, four pics are the most recent. The last two are of my girls with Biscuit. We all love her so much.

We got Daisy from you guys almost two and a half years ago. She as healthy as can be and is the most energetic bulldog that we have ever seen. She also thinks that she rules the roost and will gladly bump in front of our other bully, Roscoe, to get ALL of the attention.

Hi Ellen,

Just thought I would drop you a quick line and let you know how Bella is doing. I have attached a few pictures of her.

She goes EVERYWHERE with me or Matt.....if one of us goes somewhere she goes as well! She is so much fun and such a "ham" when we are in public she goes and talks to everybody and everybody wants to talk to her. She loves little kids; and it amazes me how gentle she is with them.

She still sleeps in her OSU bed in her kennel at night (she actually choose to get in her kennel about the time the news is over). She definalty has her bedtime set. In the morinings I take her out and then we both get back into bed together for a little snooze time.

The other day I took some cattle to the vet so while we were there I took her in weighed her on their scales....she tipped the scales at 30 pounds!
She is definatly getting to be a big girl.
I love her so much and can't thank you enough for raising such great bulldogs.

Thanks again,
Erica
Just a short e-mail to let you know that Gabby is doin good. Her personality has sure come out and she is a pistol. She knows what she wants when she wants it and has no bones about letting you know.
